Painting a sign
I decided to paint a sign for my door instead of a wreath! I think it may go right outside my classroom door. I love it :)
Vinyl time
I finally got my vinyl in the mail! I made several things for my classroom. Here are some pictures. I will post more when I get them in the classroom!

Tissue paper decorations
I am making these for my classroom :) I wanted some fun cute things, so my friends and I decided these would be cheap and easy!
First I got the colors of tissue paper that went with my color scheme. I bought mine from Hobby Lobby and used one whole pack for one puff.
I also bought 24 gauge flower wire and ribbon to hang them with. I haven't really measured the ribbon because I am not sure how high I want them.
Next, I folded the tissue paper like an accordion. I folded it about 1 and 1/2 inches.
Old school fan style :)
Next, I folded the wire (about 6 inches) in half and tied it like a bread tie. I also went ahead and put my ribbon through the wire.
You will need sharp scissors to curve the ends. You could also make them pointy ends but I like mine to look more like flowers.
Then, I just started to pull out each piece of tissue one by one.
Make sure you do both sides so it is full on both side if you are hanging them. If you are taping them to a wall, you will only have to do one side.
All finished!

Star search tutus
These are the tutus I made for my babies for star search :) very easy and my standard non sew tutu!
1. Get a stretchy headband.
1. Get a stretchy headband.
2. Wrap the tulle around the correct size cardboard and then cut on one side. The sizing really depends on the type of tutu you want. For this one, I wanted it to look more like a skirt. Normally, I like them to look more like a tutu. But for this project, I had ten girls to make tutu's for and tulle is expensive :)
3. Tie the tulle into the bottom holes. You can either do two pieces in every other space or one piece in every space. This time, I used one piece of tulle per hole.
4. Wear the tutu :)
Rainbows
We completed the unit the wizard of oz from Abby at the Inspired Apple :) I didn't get to take many pictures because my camera was broken but here are some of our rainbow milk and rainbow estimation!
